Febuary 1 - May 3, 2007
I finished the scarf/shawl finally last night. This is the first and easiest shawl in the book. Knitting lace does not come easy for me and I struggled quite a bit. I really wanted to finish this shawl so there was a bit of frogging and some fixing, but as I neared the end there were less mistakes and the knitting became really enjoyable to the point that I have already casted on my next shawl which is the large rectangle diamond pattern shawl. (also easy) More info and pictures on my blog.

Great shawl. The color is just very cool! Good thing you kept going with the pattern.

The colours are lovely, and it doesn't look like it's the easiest one, I've sure everyone who sees it will be very impressed lol

I'm knitting this too and find that it requires focus and concentration. My LYS says don't be fooled--this is not an easy pattern just because it's only three sts! Those three sts require attention--no mindless knitting--and the fact that the pattern is on the purl side too means we have to pay attention all the time! Congratulations on finishing your at least intermediate lace project!
