Marrionberry Bramble
I've renamed scarf with fir cone lace to marrionberry bramble. I'm pleased with how my spindle yarn is working out, though I think I need to keep a closer eye on my gauge. Definitely not worth frogging, especially since I'm glad to be done with the berries for a while...
It's amazing what the right yarn can do for a pattern. That is one of the few patterns in the book that I didn't really care for. However, your spindle spun yarn is gorgeous and that color is just right and it is looking beautiful! Congratulations on a great choice for your project.
Thanks! I skipped past this pattern as well, I respected the color because it was bold but I'm very unforgiving towards "bubblegum pink" (and ultimately I prefer more subtle colors). It's also my first lace project and I really appreciate the encouragement. Time to start picking up stitches...

I like the color of your spun yarn, too. Can't wait to see you finishing it.
I agree with the other commentators that you chose a much better color for this scarf than the one shown in the book. It looks lovely!
