Syrian Shoulder Shawl

I did this in my own handspun yarn from a fine NZ romney. It went very quickly and I loved knitting it. I do love lots of endless garter stitch. :) I have more photos and details on my own blog.

You inspired me. I need to get this cast on before the next round of March Madness starts this Thursday. I need that mindless, yet satisfying, knitting for basketball, basketball, basketball! FUN!

It is so pretty. The yarn is great with this pattern. Maybe I need one too. :-)

Thank you everyone. I think this pattern would be good, too, for a varigated yarn with short color repeats. I can't decide if I want to do this again in some rayon/silk weaving yarn in the stash, or if I want to do the cherry leaf shawl next in the book... BTW - The friend for whom I knit this has seen the photos on my blog and gives it 2 thumbs up. :) http://sandeleh.blogspot.com
